This is an application for bail filed by the accused Balu Ganpat

of the Prevention of Corruption Act. 1988.

2
Heard the the advocate for the accused and learned A.P.P. for
the State and the investigating officer.

It is contended by the accused that he has been falsely
implicated in the matter. As per the accused, the material investigation is
almost completed. He has permanent abode in Mumbai. The applicant is
also ready to coнoperate with the investigating agency and ready to abide
by conditions, if any imposed, while granting bail.
4
The learned A.P.P.. has filed reply and opposed the application
on the ground that the accused has accepted the illegal gratification on
two occasions and that amount is required to be seized. The learned A.P.P.
further contended that the accused may tamper with the prosecution
evidence and may pressurize the witnesses, as the investigation is still in
progress.
5
Today, the accused has been taken in the judicial custody. The
case paper reveals that the house search of the accused has already been
taken. The voice sample of the accused has also been taken. As far as
further investigation is concerned, the presence of accused can be secured
for this purposes by putting certain conditions. I do not find any fruitful
purpose will serve by keeping the accused in judicial custody. In this
circumstances, I find it proper to release the accused on bail on following
conditions. Hence, the order:н
